So over 2008 I lost 20 pounds. When I started Weight Watchers in 2/08 I weighed a whopping 197 lbs. But i lost 20 pounds from then until the end of summer and have managed it pretty well. I've been going to the gym regularly and even worked up to running 1-mile.
I decided to wait a week to weigh myself after getting back from New Hampshire. That whole week before was pretty much a non-stop feeding/drinking frenzy. When I went for a physical the Tuesday after returning I even refused to be weighed. I knew I gained, I could feel it and wanted a week to get myself back on a normal routine.
So I went to the gym for a week and tried to get back into the swing of things exercise-wise. Eating is still going to be an issue as I have wasted all my funds during Christmas. So I'm living on hot dogs and doritos and lean pockets. I have to say that when you stop going to the gym for even 2 weeks, you really feel it when you go back. But I weighed myself on 1/03 and I weighed in at 180 lbs. Not too too bad.
So this is my starting point, 180. My goals this year are to lose another 20 and be able to run 2 miles. LOOK OUT!!!!
